We were on Skype and Harrison had a notebook and pencil ready, writing down what I was telling him. I was flipping through a little Neuhaus chocolates catalogue, reading descriptions of pralines and telling him which ones I liked. This took no less than 10 minutes, and he actually seemed to be interested (or at least tolerant) in my chocolate preferences. Then he spent a while looking through the gift boxes and their assortments to figure out which one was the closest to what I wanted.

-note: he isn’t actually as whipped as this makes him sound okay-

That’s just really… nice. I don’t know how else to put it.

I used to think that girls who were obsessed with their boyfriends were pathetic. Still do. However, there’s a difference between obsession and heavy fixation (the latter is actually better). So a month or so ago when I realised that I had become one of these girls (of the latter category), I was a little worried.
Then he does things like this and it just makes worrying seem silly.
I’m happy, and that’s all there really is to it.
